MK 581: John Introduces Harrison Ford To Nigerian Food

That was an amazing experience, because we were on set of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and we had filmed the whole day, and so he asked me on the Falcon, he was just like, “Hey, kid, I wanna eat something “that’s gonna be a little bit different. “Maybe you can take me to a restaurant after we wrap, “that would be a great, great time.” I said, “Okay, cool, Harrison, “I’m gonna take you over to this Nigerian spot.” As soon as I said that, his bodyguard turns purple and green, he’s like, “Okay, where are you taking this dude?” Eh? He ditched his security man, picked me up at my accommodation at the time, and we drove over to South London to a place on Old Kent Road called 805 where they sell all of this, jollof rice, you know, plantain, pounded yam. But Harrison went past that and went for the real native meals. He finished every single plate, and even on top of that, as soon as we got back in the car on our way home, he slept like a Nigerian after he has eaten, which for me is, I said, “Harrison, you gotta do your ancestry DNA, “you got some black in you, boy.”
