[Music] dog head sad boy broken heart oh I hear a girl coming here’s our girl it’s her head on my body now I’m going to go find her and be crazy and cover up my stuff and then he finds a girl and his heart is bro his heartest full so is it saying I will find you your true love if you give me these dog biscuits what is this do you guys know what it [Music] means I’m thoroughly convinced we have the worst commercials and other countries have the best now I don’t know if it’s that I don’t understand these commercials or if I don’t understand these people and I think it might be a little bit of both that Susi commercial what are your thoughts on that started off really sexy yeah and then they got even sexier when they turned into food but you know what women aren’t pieces of meat guys so instead they’re wonderful complex carbohydrates she couldn’t be R it’s sexist otherwise all girls are just sticky white rice that’s pretty accurate Japan is a really poetic nation is there an interesting statement that they made the man the meat you seem to think so what are you trying to say yeah I think it’s better than make it a girl the fish this commercial with those baby things was it those Russian dolls was that what what they were like there’s a lot of layers the sauce like the dolls you’re going too deep man too many layers deep oddly enough Most Japanese kids are born exactly that way and only later do they uh come out of that shape the last one the dog commercial what was the story of that commercial oh there was a story oh yes I don’t know there was a story there was a moral don’t get a dog I remember first thing I thought was is that dog real second thing I thought was no that dog is not real I don’t know just my nightmares manifest in in a dog Man suit and when he starts like using his paws and like coming at you coming at the camera uh-uh I won’t be able to sleep for a week how does that make sense none of those made sense what was going on when this happened oh weird it’s like a doll on the dog’s head did the dog decapitate himself the Japanese are a delicate and subtle people filled with fine fine art and I’d have to say that this is some weird sometimes I look at adults that have like baby faces and I always think that that adult is actually just a series of toddlers stacked up wearing adult clothes on top of them and I think this proves that I’m right and what was that selling dog trads ecstasy maybe I think little girls they’re actually selling potato chips not dog potato chips no what the dog just loved the potato chips of course of course that was like one of the things I was going to say none of these commercials make me want to eat anything they just make me want to like go to the fetal position what uh is your favorite of these commercials that we showed you the salmon one Turtle Mutant I guess you got to give it up for the Cy doll one the first one the sushi one I’m going to go with the man covered in blood the sushi one it’s the dog for sure he’s into dogs I like the dog one I like the Sashimi one I’d have to say the turtle sour candy was my favorite I think the one where they tripped it’s like a zombie apocalypse and the ones who fall die but instead they get candy I’m trying to forget all of them do you think these are considered to be so weird Japan no they’re probably like totally um jaded I think it’s because there’s an island nation you remain isolated long enough you begin thinking things like spinning babies are a good way to advertise pasta just as a human being I can expect that anyone watching this in any culture of any ethnicity is still going to have questions probably like a popular thing definitely leaves you leaves a mark on you you don’t forget about it it’s just a language barrier other than that it’s totally normal you know talking dog talking Turtle spinning baby heads Sushi human Sushi is there anything thing we do as Americans you think Japanese people find completely bizarre I was going to say Ikea yeah they have some great commercials weird ones it starts off and it’s like a family and it’s like a girl sitting down and she’s like this she’s like I’m pregnant and the mom grabs she’s like oh my God oh my God we’re going to take care of it and the dad’s like this is this is crazy this is crazy you don’t take care of yourself she’s like you don’t love me you don’t know me you don’t understand like it’s like this whole dramatic thing and then it kind of pans out and they’re in an Ikea like living room and they look at the guy and they’re like we’ll take it [Applause]
