[Music] this is like a a Minecraft custom map where you like weave through the trees as you’re you’re dropping down and stuff is that how it is to buy craft uh most of the time you do die and then the one time you land in the water you’re good but you don’t Sprout Wings on the way down how does it make you feel sad now soing sad I’m like really going to cry who thought of that they’re sad why are they so sad I want to give them a hug unsatisfied and then I felt stupid and then I felt smart cuz I figured it out pretty much like every day with you some people find this video very dark while some find it inspirational and some just find it cute what do you think I thought that video sucked ah honestly I thought the video was not good but I just most specifically I thought the animation was fine it was a little crude you know it was 2006 but it was really sad and I don’t like sadness in my life you tried to make me cry and I don’t appreciate that fine bros why did it kill itself cuz it couldn’t do what it loved fly he knew the only thing he really wanted in his life and he knew that like there was only one way to do it maybe he first someone said that if you jump off the cliff you’ll be able to fly then he went on YouTube and watched a video of someone playing The Dropper Minecraft map and he’s like oh well if I’m going to jump off a cliff and fly I may as well make it interesting just like that so he did it do you know what type of bird it was kiwi he is a kiwi bird it’s a kiwi it was a kiwi no what is a real bird no the Creator in an interview said that some might see it as me telling you that your dreams are worth dying for some people can be obsessive over something only they can understand what do you think about that it’s called OCD I think that there are dreams that are big enough to die for but I think that there are ways to achieve your dreams without dying it’s an interesting way of showing this message and I don’t understand why he’s really I just can’t get over the fact that he dies at the end some people are so committed to a certain experience that they are willing to die for it to see some dream achieve even if it means their own destruction the question is was it worth it you got to go to Kiwi heaven to find that out for people watching that don’t know how YouTube’s homepage and lists used to work can you explain it I I don’t know that I could really I was young and I didn’t do the whole YouTube thing like I I was genuinely one of those people that was like cat videos like that’s what YouTube’s for I was more up to Gaia Online is what I was more up to I was up with anime finally this was created as a master’s thesis project for a college class by this animator if you were the teacher what grade would you give it and why Oh I thought for a grade I would give him an a an a I would hope that this teacher did that’s an A+ in my book he should be teaching the class oh it was very well animated so I give him an A but like a 99 and a half% at 200 in 2006 probably 100% A+ Plus plus and I’m going to call up Pixar personally with my Pixar contacts and tell them they should hire you now knowing that it was a student project this is great he would have passed the class if the class was to make a mediocre video that took probably eight months it was so much deep thinking when I was an art major that I just didn’t want to think deeply anymore as if I would have stayed an art major I probably would have been like H it’s just a bird killing himself get over it A+ it’s it’s great it’s a great great project and it’s beautiful what grade did it get that I don’t know I know he’s gone on to have a good career why don’t we know you always you’re not allowed to ask me questions you don’t know the answer to it’s it’s messed up it’s mess that’s why I come here I come here for the knowledge [Applause]
