yesterday on our way back from lunch somebody blew their horn you remember that let’s talk about that it’s Tuesday January 4th 2011 good morning Chia Lincoln or 11:00 we’re going to start saying 11:00 because of some of the comments from yesterday people said just drop the 20 it’s time to drop to 20 once you get into the Elevens I thought it should be 1 1 that’s a 1 1 that’s inappropriate yesterday on our way back from lunch is driving my little black Scion looks like a refrigerator and if you have a black refrigerator which I guess makes you some people do highfalutin someone beeped at us link said blew the horn I say beep the horn I don’t say blew the horn but I don’t say beep because that’s you know it’s just not masculine enough I don’t think beep the horn somebody beep the horn datas but it was kind of a powerless sound beep meet me and so the first thing you think when you’re out and about in your hometown and somebody beeps the horn is Oh somebody I know and it is anybody I knew but there was a person kind of looking at it’s like like looking down around the bottom of the car but they were in the wind East parking lot as we were going by and they were like that their eyebrows were crinkled and something something’s wrong they were beeping at us I didn’t I didn’t think I had violated any traffic laws so then we get to the intersection going back towards the studio and I hear another beep another beep and I don’t even know if it was the same car you know it could have been that what the Doppler effect it could have been the same car but it was definitely it was a totally different horn totally a different time you’re confusing the issue by trying to make a joke about the Doppler effect but the fact is people to different people beated us for reasons we do not know so what do you what do you think link when you’re out and about and people start beeping at you what do you think and you haven’t done anything wrong traffic wise yeah and the question is what do you think tell us in the comments I I you know when I hear a horn beep I don’t know maybe I just have a guilty conscience in general or like I don’t know I’m very self-absorbed but I immediately think any beep has to do with me cuz I don’t even know if those two beeps had anything to do with us we just might happen to have been in the right place at the right time to catch a wayward beep but you is what else but it’s like what happens to me is it like my heart kind of stops for a second it’s like whoa this could be really bad you know really yeah that’s exactly how I feel but then happened to me it’s like Oh something this could be bad what I think is what is wrong with my car I think it’s a gas cap open is there a baby on the hood or the top did I leave my child up there did the children work with us we don’t have children together but it did I leave a drink up there is my bumper falling off is there something strapped to the exhaust pipe do I have a flat tire I don’t know it that’s exactly what I’m saying it’s really something something really bad like you leaving your drink up there so we were just a hundred percent sure there was something wrong with the car we were like you know everything seems fine we’ll make it back to the studio okay and we got back in but then everybody who was passing us is like I was looking at him to see if they were looking at the car it was like should we pull over and but you see a lot of people will not tell you when something’s wrong with your car two three weeks ago I was heading out with my family to Disney World oh and there was a car in front of us and I don’t know what was happening I know it was coming out of the back of the pickup or what but things a weird object started flying off the back of this car and then I was having to dodge him I dodged first a high-heeled shoe I was like if I thought high hell goes into my car 80 miles per hour we’ll all die so I dodged that next thing a teddy bear sounds like Mario Kart yeah it was like a video game for a very short period of time an appeals and I do I got the high score I completely I dodged the the the high heeled shoe I dodged the teddy bear and then here comes a book bag maybe this is the book bag that the high heeled shoes and the the teddy bear were in but it gets caught on the back of a DHL van a delivery van and it gets caught around the exhaust pipe explain that to me I don’t know how it happened but it like all that’s happened in front you all it happened in front of me and I was like this thing’s going for a ride and somehow the strap what happened is it went up under the wheel he ran over it and it came up and went around the exhaust and so now the book bag is hitching a ride on the DHL maybe it’s trying to make a delivery and it’s on the back of the exhaust and it’s dragging and just just coming boiling like what 120 100 you got to get Disney World km/h and and my wife says we need to tell this woman driving this DHL truck as we can see in the rearview that it was a woman did she mean beep the horn she is that what she was implying well she said we got to get this woman’s attention to tell her that there’s a book bag on her exhaust and I was thinking well there’s not hurting anybody you know no this is this is what I call bad this is a horn beeping situation but I’ve dreamed but I said okay we’ll do it but we decided the way that we were gonna do this is not by beeping the horn because if you beat the horn at 120 km/h you know all hell breaks loose and people can die no just the Doppler effect that’s all it’s scary but it’s just you know it’s just something with dizzy with physics so we pulled up next to this woman and we roll down the window I tell my wife this is pointless we’re going so fast that you’re not your sounds not going to get to the woman but she rolls down the window the one that woman looks earlier in the world she rollin on I need my package and then uh my wife says you didn’t deliver our package you have a book bag on your muffler hey and the woman’s like this first of all this is completely unbelievable that this would even get seems like a practical joke it’s not the words I would have chosen book bag on your muffler and then woman was like she nodded and then she like turns back rolls the window up and just keeps going Sue’s neck exactly so you didn’t blow the horn well I thought about it but it was a high speed you thought about it you didn’t do it because I don’t like beeping the horn at people I feel like it’s inappropriate well here’s the real problem with the horn because we got back in there was nothing wrong with rets car no bookbag from any muffler we concluded there’s nothing wrong so the problem with horns are that they’re so indiscriminate that you might as well not use them at all it’s just like you you beep the horn and it goes out it’s a broadcast out to everybody they need to invent a horn that’s very targeted that somehow it’s like you can lock on it’s like you know when you’re when you’re a fighter pilot and you can lock on and then hit the horn button and and it just transmits directly inside their car well it’s almost like an intercom remember the game that you used to play it was it was a big arrow and you turned it around and it would like go to the different farm animals you should have that audience a on your steering wheel it’s like I would like to tell this person that they have them a book bag on their muffler maryk that is a certain sound and everybody has it installed in all the cars you have a book bag on your muffler see anyway that’s what we wanted to talk about today let’s check in with Lincoln here he is some of you requested on Facebook and on YouTube to put chia seeds on his beard it’s not made to go
