humans way to go we are all imperfect and therefore our language is a perfect we love you for that but imperfect you know what else happens is that because we’re imperfect we mispronounce words and phrases on a regular basis and you know I too am NOT above this I found out in comments from a recent episode of this show that you guys have said I mispronounced the term athlete that’s right and did I just say it right because I’ve been saying athlete yeah you see you and I’ve I’ve since changed my ways thanks to you yeah you said athlete three syllables and you said it a couple of times and it was pointed out by the mythical beast who watch and comment its athlete and now we change it and we also said you know what since link got that one wrong what else may he be pronouncing incorrectly and what about you Nelson yeah are you like well I know athlete well him but me them more importantly what are you mythical beasts who watches good mythical morning what are you pronouncing incorrectly and can we put you on a corrective course right now to make your life better what we’re all about to learn something I hope so let’s turn this into a game what you’re going to say I’m gonna give you a hint so that you’ve know the word that I’m talking about I won’t say the word cuz that would master saga it’s kind of a guessing game at the same time but it’s also a pronunciation game can I win money not a pronunciation game by the way a pronunciation game and you’re going to think of the word and then you’re gonna say it but link is gonna give you you were a second to think of the word and to say it out loud wherever you sit a few if you’re watching by yourself somewhere you’re gonna seem crazy with your headphones and just saying these words it’s fine your father’s if great start um okay when you go to a cow pasture and there is like this fence is made out of this certain wire that’s got these little points on it what kind of fence is that barbed wire diggin barbed wire it’s barbed wire barbed is barbed Oh most I thought I thought that people said Bob why a lot of people say Bob wire and you said barbed wire is barbed wire it has been barbed but Pamela Anderson’s superhero character was barbed wire Lea cuz ever name is Barbra Barbra and I think that’s the standard okay when something just comes out of the blue and it’s awesome people say it’s a blessing and the blessing in disguise yeah blessing in disguise lots of people say I’m not giving you space but hopefully you are saying what’s your lots of people say blessing in the skies now like you I don’t say that cuz I was just reading its blessing in disguise okay yeah I didn’t miss that one okay when you need to send in a bunch of guys on horseback to come in for the rescue you send in I think you’re kind of a jerk if you say this correctly but it’s clothes 12 no no no no it’s very slight clothes clothes it’s a little list because there’s a th their clothes people in the comments have also said that I have a list you do okay if you go to the doctor through the eye doctor and he put something in your eyes to make your pupils get larger he puts them in there to make the pupils dilate but dilate two syllables dilated is not dilate it is down three it’s too I knew that okay you got to get that but you got to get out of prison you need to let heal a blanket and it was made come up with a way to come up with it especially it’s not X passionately I don’t say expect you see especially especially okay and this is a common one when people say for all intensive purposes what did I just say there for all intents like I intend but it’s plural noun version of that intense yeah it’s not for all intensive purposes is for all intents and purposes okay I’m six seven that is my height height it is not my height height is not a word it is height Wow when you arrange things okay there’s a boss at the top and there’s somebody under him there’s somebody under him the center in him there’s a certain order what middle management what does that call it it starts with an H it is a hierarchy hierarchy isn’t that hierarchy it is a higher art I said hierarchy for a long time then I looked at how it was written okay famous Bobby dared at it famous crazy Bobby Brown okay crazy Bobby Brown song he said that’s my prerogative no prerogatives it is not prerogative it is prerogative prerogative prerogative prerogative it’s just how it’s spelled that’s not he said no it is per uh prerogative it is my prerogative he said it wrong it’s not now that everybody gets that one wrong I mean there are some that are very acceptable I don’t think you’re gonna seem like if Bobby Brown gets it wrong then I’m with Bobby but when you gotta go and you gotta get a certain order of medicine filled at the pharmacy that you’re getting your what filled perscription know you’re getting your prescription filled no I I what do you mean it’s not happening before it’s a prescription it’s not a purse scrip she’s been perfect no prescribes been prescribed it’s not a prescription now you got some some sweat up under your arms you are perspiring perspiring correct it is not perspiring let’s think your are aspiring it is not pre spiring i need a prescription for my perspiration okay a few more when somebody’s when something happens again it starts with an R it it occurred what happens it nothing is sherbet sherbet okay okay so I’m getting smarter every second something which may not be saying much okay I’m gonna move on to a couple of ones that these are all ones that I personally got incorrect as I looked at this list so you’re saying you got the other ones right I got looking at the list it’s you’re biased okay I’m really good at something it is my starts with an F yes drinking talent that is my forte Forte French technically it’s just fort the e was added incorrectly because so many people said it wrongly because they were looking at a musical term called a Forte and they and then the dictionary actually updated to account for people’s incorrect pronunciation it’s really my fort cuz you sound like it now if you’re like that’s my fort no like where’s your fort see doesn’t make any sense now but technically it’s fort I didn’t know that okay when you criticize somebody harshly you just I’m just laying into this guy I lambaste wrong it is lambaste lambaste is not a word and it wasn’t what I thought which I thought it was a lamb blast lamb blow I’m gonna lamb blast this dude it’s lambaste it rut just like basting a lamb it’s lambaste okay okay you sign a what kind of agreement before you get married if you’re nuts in Hollywood nuptial no it’s nuptial it’s two syllables nuptial nuptial it is not enough shawl okay okay women it will be a prenup women sometimes get breast implants and they are made out of certain substance silicon did you know that silicon and silicon are two different things silicon is what you put one for the left one’s for the right a microchip silicon is microchips in silicon are like the implants in that people have made of silicon is an element silicon is a man-made thing hmm I didn’t know that okay you look just like your dad you’re the what image of your dad spitting image incorrect it is the spit and image of your dad it was turned into spitting image again and updated in the dictionary because so many people got it got it wrong but it was the spit and image three words now in one of my recent videos I said let’s go to this particular place in the in Mexico I said let’s go to Tijuana it is tuwana it is not Tijuana there is no a in the first part it is Tijuana whoops you said that I didn’t and lastly when you compete in three different sports and you run you swim and you bite you are a triathlete you’re trying to Train you’re in and you’re competing in a triathlon yeah half the line no triathlon there is it is not a triathlon is it all right so what does this mean if you’ve got fifty percent or less of these correct your you need help and you’re going to be perceived as a stupid person by other people so if you want to leg up say these things right if you got 90% 95% or more right you’re a jerk you’re a jerk so you want to be in like you want to be where I you want to be in 50 to 95 percent if you get if you break the 95 percent barrier you’re gonna be a person that no one wants to hang out
