competition who can hold the longest note it’s every other year and it is October 1st it goes through this whole month this is the third ever started in 2008 did in 2010 and now we’re doing again alright this is this is what it all boils down to this involves you representing your mythical best and joining our team by making your own super note video and then once you make it you have to make it a response to this video not the video on our main channel not the super note launch orientation video to join our team you have to respond to this video you could also join I mean I don’t know I mean you may be more of a fan of someone else who’s a captain in this thing no ain’t no hard feelings what you’re cheating on us whatever but you can join any team and the way you join a team and you can join one even tell them how to do that is just make a response to their video but they would never do that of course they know I don’t know you can do it if plus we’re gonna bribe you with prizes which we’ll talk about in a little bit but you know the the main piece of business here is us doing our super note first we have to leave the way as the leaders of Team mythical beast we have to do a super note and because there’s two of us as you can read in the rules if there’s a group of you it’s only the longest note amongst your group that counts so for us and I will say link we’re gonna start at the same time 2008 and 2010 I beat you I went longer than you well you’re you’re you have a past in swimming oh that’s what this you have a history in listening I’m giving you the opportunity started you know sometimes when you’re honing your breath and you realize you did you’re like something about your swallow or mechanism is screwed up the whole time I was doing it I was like to swallow I have to swallow have to swallow so what you’re saying is I didn’t do great you did horrible I did by far the worst I’ve ever done but you know what congratulations the funny thing is is that’s the way we stopped in almost a magical wait at exactly the same time and it was less than 34 cuz you forgot to hit here’s like 30 seconds okay here’s the deal it doesn’t matter how good you are at supernote whenever you make your super note even if it’s two seconds it contributes to the cumulative a note of our team so as long as you do some measurable super note it contributes to the team you need to do it even if you even if you think I can’t hold along no guys listen just be your mythical best and contribute and if you’ve never made a youtube video talk to the people who’ve never made a YouTube video right tell them what they needed before I say that pep talk I cheated a little bit what three seconds then I went to a home I drill I just realized that now I’m with mmm you can’t set des against the rules so you win gratulations you win 2012 supernote for me and you between are you are you kidding you cheated why I thinking about this so we talking about I haven’t been prepping look I’m in thinking about this for years I’ve been prep I didn’t I forgot about it man you hummed I went hmm I went into a home I realized was come just coming through my nose I didn’t do turn the camera on myself introspective and make myself a public spectacle whatever you want to do that would just make a video of yourself enter the world of YouTube you know you’re not gonna get hurt no matter what your parents say oh when did I should I not have said that talk to your parents first parents say that YouTube and then argue with their no telling them that you should have a youtube channel okay so as if that wasn’t enough of a pep talk we are prepared to give you guys prizes at least the winner so the top three longest individual super notes on Team mythical beasts are gonna get a prize third place is going to get I think you start with first place okay first place is going to get a pair of mythical shoes that’s right you know these your size of color and in your choice of color in science kill a lot of brain cells holding out a home note yeah trying to swallow it goes messed up all right may a black blue or cream and you also get a t-shirt Anila like the one and then the choice of the last thing whatever that you know you don’t have a choice whatever the first and second didn’t want and you know if if if part of being your mythical best is being creative be creative just for the fun of it you know express yourself and I will say eat I will say can’t believe you cheat you need to train better than I did good the good news is is that you’re gonna be you know just fell off our board vector you’re gonna be like you can do multiple takes I mean we just do we do we do the show on one taken so I had a horrible super note but that’s okay cuz if you did that you could you feel like you know what I’m going to dig deeper the next time I’m gonna practice I’m gonna yeah I’m gonna train many of you to Train and are in the top but we wanted before we close out today’s episode we want but I look but I just want to clarify they can train but they can only upload and respond with one video once they do that even if they delete it and start over it won’t count once your channel has submitted a video even if you delete it you cannot submit another video yeah said make as many videos as you want but don’t upload you your practice videos yeah don’t do it it’s like a live cam or whatever so what are we gonna say minutes how there’s a missing because we’re going way back and there’s probably a few of you mythical beasts it actually before we even referred to anything as a mythical beast to somebody who watched our videos who used to watch something called the rhett and Link cast live and this was a live show that we do every Thursday night what year was that 2007 2007 2008 and we did her on Ustream so we would actually every Thursday night we did it and we I think we probably had a couple hundred people who were just faithful Watchers of the retina main cast live comment if you were one of those people and I know you’re out there and we would start every single episode by saying link you would say ladies and gentlemen coming to you of a live show we’d have to come up with yeah now remember one day we’re just working this is way back in Lillington Rhett goes to the bathroom I’d do a lot of thinking of it and I never go to the bathroom with him I just keep working and then ultimately he emerges from the restroom and he comes around the corner and he says we’re out of toilet paper no he said I got an idea and it was I don’t remember what you said but it’s what turn into super now let’s do a competition you know I’ll hold off the note at the beginning the blah blah blah what if we did a a competition where people tried to do that all you got to do is have a webcam and a Mikan in the first year we did it we had a couple of thousand people participate last time 2010 there were over 15,000 supernodes so let’s see what happens this time you know I think I think we can win it only if you joint you have to contribute people get really kind of awkward don’t you don’t sit on the sidelines get in there a week spin get dirty yeah I spend all my energy otherwise link vanishes I don’t need I don’t know how I would go about doing that but you know I could have swore that link was right here a second ago but he seems to have just completely disappeared and the weird thing about it is that this is such a small room I feel like I would see him if he was still here [Music] you
