It’s even more important because it’s like two meals in one. Okay, well, breakfast is definitely in the top four most important meals of the day. And there’s no breakfast more iconic than cereal. But when it comes to that important meal, how important are the brand names? We’re gonna find out. It’s time for Knock Off Knockout Cereal Edition. As you can see, we can’t. Okay, boys, first up, you have four crunchy cinnamon cereals in front of you. They are generic. And knockoffs except for one, which is Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Can you find it? You gonna pour the milk? Oh yeah, I’m already, I’m already trying. It’s kind of your thing. It’s kind of my thing. Cause I know you’re blindfolded. Yep. So, uh, do I, do you need help? Uh, could I, uh, I could put my finger in the milk, in the bowl to know how high it is. Yeah, you can do that. Yep. Kind of my thing. I think that’s plenty probably. I don’t know, I think you need more. More back here. Ow, ow! Ow? Okay, and then over here. Gonna get soggy. Don’t worry about it, just keep going. I trust you. Apparently you’re doing great. Yeah. Okay, I’m coming into bowl one. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, one of the best. Where am I gonna put my milk? And then I got my flag, and then I got my. Big spoon. My spoon here. And then I’m gonna go over here and get this. Hmm. Hmm. Well? It’s pretty good. Quite tasty. Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Get it while it’s still crunchy. Mmhmm. That one, it definitely tastes different. Than the first one. Oh yeah. Way different. Well, but I still have cereal on my spoon. Okay, I’m going for the third one. You gotta clean your spoon. Yeah, I did. Mmm. Mmm! I’m in my happy place. I’ll tell you right now, somebody who tried to create a — They’re all good. A rip off brand of Cinnamon Toast Crunch didn’t taste the original. I’m really proud of us and how good this is doing without. That’s not it. Without being able to see. Yep, yep. Hmm. Hmm. Not really getting a lot of cereal. Hmm. Okay, where you at? I think I know. Okay. Nicely, gently stab. I’m gonna let you, I’m, I’m not, I don’t wanna get stabbed, man. Cinnamon toast crunch in three, two, one. Haaaaa! No. Where, where, where is, where are you going? Now see here, you know why your hand gets stabbed? Look, look, look, look, look. Look where, look where you hold it. See where I hold it? You see why I don’t get stabbed? Oh. I hold the top. I gotta know where it’s going. We agree. This um, oh my gosh, look at this. It’s got black stuff in it. Is that that much cinnamon in this one? Um, I thought that the first one was good. This one tasted the weirdest. But I know that that’s Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Yeah, I bet my life on it, Stevie. You are correct. The others, the first one is from Walmart. It’s Great Value. Not bad at all. Pretty good, actually. The one with stuff in it that I can’t tell what it is is Malt O Meal. This one’s not great. It’s got a lot of cinnamon. The last one is Kroger. Kroger, also not bad. Very crunchy. But. Very crunchy. You know the thing about the original? And they have a pattern on that, on them. It’s way soggier way faster. Mm hmm. That sense of urgency is part of the experience. It’s kind of what makes it what it is. It’s still the best. I can’t recommend any of these over it. Except Walmart is a distant second. Next up, we have Reese’s Puffs alongside three other chocolate and peanut butter cereals. Okay. I’ve only had the official Reese’s. As much as I love peanut butter and cereal, I haven’t tried the other ones, so I’m interested to see. I feel like I’m playing that marshmallow game where I have no idea how much I’m picking up. What rivals it. Have you? Have you had any of the other ones? Mm mm. And, I’ve only had Reese’s Puffs on this show. Never in my waking life. Really? This is all a dream to me. I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Reese’s Puffs Minis cereal. They get smaller than this? Mm hmm. I think we’re spooning right now. Mm. Hm…. hmm? One of those is way worse than the other. I won’t say which. The second one. Do you keep picking up my spoon or is that, is it just heavy cereal? B. It’s heavy cereal. That one’s pretty good again. Yeah, it is. Hmm. I believe I have a lot. Now we’re over here. I keep trying to go into my, my mug, man. Hmm. Huh. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Huh. Hmm. Hmm. Huh. Hmm. Hmm. I’ll tell you right now, there’s a except for that one, I’m not, yeah. There’s some good cereal here. The other three, uh. I’m gonna go with which one is my favorite. Very good. Feeling like I don’t have a good point of reference here. Three, two, one. Oh, you were over there? And so were you. And you know what I’m gonna do? I’m gonna bet my life on it again. The Reese’s Puffs are in bowl number three. Oh, I lost my life! He’s gonna die now. Well, so, the interesting thing is Did you both like the first one better than? I should have gone back. It has this like powdery. I think I did. I think I liked it better. The first one is Great Value from Walmart. The one that you did not like in the second bowl is 365 from Whole Foods. Awful. And then the one at the end is a brand I don’t think we’ve had. It’s Millville from Aldi. This one is really good. Now that I’m. Well, that’s the one. I’m saying like, like I don’t, I’m not, I don’t think I actually like the Great Value one more now that I’m tasting them. Yep, you got me. I’m dead. But great value is good. And embarrassed. If not great, and a great value. Yeah, it is. Fooled me. Hey, join us over on the Mythical Society for Roll for Mythicality. We got a special episode of our tabletop role playing game. That’s right, I’m there. Rhett’s there. Stevie’s there. Who else is there? Of course, TJ’s there. Jordan Morris is there. And special guest, Trisha Hershberger. Friend of ours. Way back from the Nerd vs. Geek days. She knows exactly what she’s doing. Check that out. Technically, it wasn’t me. It was Damnyell. Oh yeah, Damnyell was there. And Richard. Let’s be clear about that. Damnyell and Richard were both there. And this is a special one shot campaign. So you basically do not have to see all the rest of the episodes. You can just watch this and enjoy the adventure that we go on. It was a lot of fun. RollforMythicality.com. Mm hmm. Okay, you are looking for the Honey Nut Cheerios. Now, I’ve had a lot of these in my day, honey. I would think that someone could replicate these, especially after the whole Great Value fiasco of the last round. This is probably one of the first things they tried to replicate. Mm hmm. Hmm. Okay. That’s good. You know what? We have Honey Nut Cheerios at our house, I’d say, 34 percent of the time. It is good to have around. When I get bored of my go tos, I like to have it. Hmm. Are they made from oats? Is it an oat based cereal? I feel like I’m tasting oats. I think so. Honey Nut Cheery Oats? Cheery Oats. You think the O is for oats? Maybe. I think it is, yeah. Hmm. Hmm. Oh! That’s so sweet! You think that the third one is sweeter? It almost tastes like it’s a different kind of milk. Like it’s done something to the milk. It’s not bad, but I didn’t think it was really sweet. I didn’t get enough. This is not easy. I thought this would be easy. This is a tough one. You’re going back to the first one, huh? You think the first one might be it, huh? Oh, I was at the second one. That was kind of my problem. That is the second one. The second one is so oaty. Mmm. It is tough. Guess I’m gonna have to keep eating cereal. Oh well. I think I know. 3 2 1. Okay. Oh, we differed. We differed. I was down to one or four. Frank differed. The Honey Nut Cheerios are in bowl number one. Yeah. Yeah. It’s got a very specific honey taste. But I’mma tell you right now, this one’s not bad at all! The ones you chose, Link, are from Walmart. Great value. Yep. Now bring it! The Oaty ones in the second bowl are from Kroger, and the sweet ones are nice! Nice by Walgreens. Nice by Walgreens? Everybody’s getting in on this cereal game. Excuse me for patting my crotch, but I had a little milk down there. I feel like I’m dropping more Cheerios even when I’m eating than I normally would when I could see. It’s, uh, this is hard. We’re having a tough time. This is so difficult. Yeah. The final round is worth two points. Oh. You’re trying to find the Cap’n Crunch Crunch Berries. Oh, with berries? Oh. Hey, don’t hurt your mouth. I know you hurt the roof of your mouth sometimes with Cap’n Crunch. I don’t, I’m not much of a Cap’n Cruncher. And I don’t like berries. Cause you’re scared of it. I’m scared of it, yeah. Whoop. Oh. I think I just moved everything. This way? Just keep going. That was pretty good. That was great, Link. No, I mean the taste of it. The first one. Hmm. Huh. That will get the roof of your mouth though. There’s a differentiation between the different pieces in the second one. You know what I’m saying? The first one felt like all uniform. Thanks for that information. Uh, yeah, I have nothing to go on here. This is not a cereal that I’ve. Mmm. That’s a hard one too. Dang. They’ve got the hardness going. I like two and three. Are you into four yet? I actually like the taste of all of them. Yeah. When you don’t really know and you’re not. Oh, I’m getting so good at this. Hold on, what happened to that one? Not good things. Okay. Did I get something you already chewed on? This is, I, I felt, I felt the same way. I think it just got soggy that quick. Super soggy. It almost tastes like smacks. Hmm. Three. Okay. Ready? Two. One. Yep. Ooh. Hmm. I think you might be right. I don’t think that’s it, dude. I think you might be right. The Cap’n Crunch is in bowl number two. Oh, yeah. It tasted the fruitiest, so that’s why I went with that one. That’s great news. This one does not bring it. Which one is it? The last one is First Street from Smart and Final. Uh, the one that Rhett chose is Kroger. Ooh, Kroger bought it. The first one is also from Malt O Meal. So we don’t have a Great Value this round. No, we don’t. But what we found in all the other rounds, that when Great Value shows up, there’s money to be saved. How, how much cheaper, just like, ballpark, is the Great Value version of versus the, uh, brand. Do you know? One million dollars cheaper at Walmart. Wow, that means she doesn’t know. Oh. Yeah, yeah. Like three to seven dollars, depending on when [purposeful mumbling]. 3 to 7? 3 to 7 cheaper? Yeah. No. That’s a lot for a box of cereal. I hope that was helpful. Uh, Link, you pulled off the win. Yes, my cereal wrap is intact. You would have been embarrassed. Tarnished but intact. Unfortunately, Rhett, you have now been declared part of this unbalanced breakfast, and you are gonna have to do something about that in Good Mythical More. Thanks for, what did I just do? I just I was gonna point at you, and then I turned my fingers around and I, like, pointed at myself. Yeah, so you would say it. Thanks for commenting and sharing this video. You know what time it is.
