Are these freebies worth the
trouble it took to get them?
Let's talk about that.
Good Mythical Morning.
There's an old saying that there's
no such thing as a free lunch.
Well, I think that's ridiculous because
we're about to get a bunch of free
food, and I'm gonna eat it for lunch.
That is true.
But was it worth the time it took to find
the deal- Mm … to drive across town and
obtain the deal just to save a few dollars?
That's what we're going to explore today.
That's why we're here.
We're here to help you.
We're also kinda telling you about
these deals if, uh, if you wanna
go out and get this stuff for free.
Yeah, so let's bring in, uh, this-
Ham … Prime Roots Black Forest
Ham Inspired Clean Plant Protein.
Okay, so it looks like ham.
Does it taste like ham?
I don't know.
Bring it in.
It looks like a pile of pantyhose.
How would you know what that looks like?
Ain't nothing better than looking down and
seeing a crumpled up pile of pantyhose.
Uh-huh.
Yep.
Uh, how does this work, Rhett?
Well, I, I don't… I want to eat it first.
I want to eat it and just to kn-
like, I don't wanna judge it- Okay.
All right.
That's fair … until it's like, you
know, I got this ham here that's not real.
It's ham inspired.
Oh, it's nice and thin.
So this is vegan.
I'm very hungry right now,
otherwise I might not even try this.
I mean- Well, I'll be honest with
you And, especially that first
bite, it could have been pantyhose.
It gets better as it dig- as it
starts to digest a little bit.
Digest?
As you re- as you, as you masticate it.
As it masticates, the flavor that is in-
ham-inspired begins to permeate your mouth.
I mean, the flappy quality-
It's not horrible … is nice.
The taste is not horrible.
And presumably, if you're gonna
be into this kind of thing, you
eat these meat-inspired things.
Right.
Okay, here's what you have to do.
You gotta download this app called the
Aisle app, sign up, and then find that deal.
We're gonna say that takes you four minutes.
You gotta drive to Erewhon, round trip
from here at least, that's the only
thing we know to go on, is 36 minutes.
Okay.
You gotta go into the store
and you gotta buy the food.
Five minutes, that might be a little quick.
I don't know.
We're gonna say five minutes.
And then you gotta send a pic of the receipt
so you can get- Within the app … the
rebate, and that's another minute.
So that's a total of 46 minutes.
Now, if you wanna know what the
monetary value of this thing is-
Mm-hmm … we did the math, and we
think this is about $5.40 worth of meat.
That's Erewhon for you.
Wha- what, what I think that they're trying
to do is they're trying to get people who
don't know about this to give it a shot.
Yeah, it's a promotion.
And then downloading the app, well, it's
not their own app, it's the Aisle app.
The Aisle app gets your information.
Data, man.
So we gotta know what
they're getting out of this.
It's all about the data, man.
They're getting you to sample… I don't know
how much you wanna eat of this, because I
don't know how much gas it's gonna give you.
Only one way to find out.
And you're not paying money for it.
I didn't pay anything for that.
You did pay, but then you had to wait,
like, 48 hours to get the money back.
I like it.
Where were you going with your
thing, what you were saying?
Can't remember.
It sounded profound.
Data.
I just wanna know what other
people are getting out of this.
'Cause what you're getting out of
this is free ham that otherwise
you might not be willing to try.
Unless you're one of these people that,
like, coupon cutter type person who
if anything can be free, you're gaming
the system and you're going for it
because you're, you got a wild brain.
And you can maybe do some other things
while you're going to take this trip.
But let's put this in perspective.
Uh-huh.
$5.40 worth of ham, 46 minutes of your time.
Some other things that you could
do with 46 minutes of your time.
Well- Uh-huh … you could take a 10-minute
shower and then lay on your bed for 36
minutes in your towel before getting dressed.
Wouldn't that be nice?
Oh, that's, that's a nice treat.
That's, that's some of the best lying around.
It's just kind of a treat because
it's at the moment where you don't
think you would be lying down.
Yes, but you're dry.
You're dry, but the towel
is a little bit wet.
You're, you're dry, yeah, and then,
then the, but the bed's getting wet.
And then you just lie… A
little bit, but it'll dry.
It's okay.
You just lie there and, like, it's
almost as if the world has stopped.
It's like a little t- All your
responsibilities are gone … little
treat … for 36 minutes as you j- And
maybe your mouth's a little bit open.
Oh, so you're actually falling asleep then.
Uh, no, I'm not.
If you're sl- if you're gape-mouthed.
I'm in a limbo situation.
Okay.
I'm here b- I'm between here and there.
You're in l- But I'm
nowhere at the same time.
Okay.
You're in nap purgatory?
Yeah.
What else could you do in 46 minutes?
You could watch eight TikToks.
83, I mean.
I read that wrong.
I was about to say, uh- Uh, eight.
That's some long TikToks.
That is I don't know how you're
getting TikTok that long.
Eight TikToks.
83 TikToks.
Well, it depends on the TikTok, but
that is the average length of a TikTok,
is 83 apparently fit into 46 minutes.
I just don't… I mean, if you… I
don't wanna go through this rigmarole.
I d- I don't think that this is…
I mean, it's expensive.
Then you're also signing yourself, "Well,
if I like it, then I'm buying some $5 for
this just much." Well, all, all, all we
can say- I'ma keep eating it … we're
just not really in the market for this.
You know?
No, we're not.
I, if it was real ham, maybe I'd
be thinking differently about this.
So we're choosing between it being
worth your while or not our style.
And definitely for this
one, this is not our style.
Not our style.
Our sponsor for this portion of
today's episode is Chime, America's
number one choice for banking.
Think about all the things you spend money
on: groceries, gas, dining out, traveling.
I've always been really frugal.
Yes, you have.
I know I don't have to tell you this.
I don't like to spend a
lot of money on stuff.
That's why I like to get the free things.
But my record shopping habit-
Mm … has kinda challenged that.
It seems to have changed it.
That's my, that's my exception.
Yeah.
I mean, it doesn't matter what
city in the world you go into,
you're gonna buy yourself a record.
Yeah.
I kinda- Or two or three or
four … I kinda need a fix.
And for me, it's food.
I spend money on food, always
have, and I guess I always will.
Well, with Chime Card, you can get 5%
cash back on a category of your choice if
you have qualifying direct deposit, and
you can change that category each month.
And that's not the only way
Chime helps you save money.
They have a high-yield savings
account that has a 3.75% APY.
That's nine times the national average.
That means in a little over a month, you'd
earn the same as what you would take a
full year with a regular savings account.
Plus, you can turn on round up, so each
purchase rounds up to the nearest dollar
and puts the rest in your savings.
And over time, that really adds up.
Mm-hmm.
Chime wants you to keep more
of your money and earn on it.
Make the switch to Chime and get a $100
bonus with a new Chime checking account.
Just go to the link below or
scan the QR code on the screen.
It only takes a few minutes to sign up.
Join the millions who are
already banking fee-free today.
And thanks again to Chime for sponsoring
this portion of today's episode.
The next thing that we've got for
free is the Quantum Caffeïne Square.
Oh, yeah.
That gets me excited.
This one is peanut butter dark chocolate.
It's got 100 milligrams of caffeine.
Okay.
10 grams of protein.
Zero junk is what it says.
I'm assuming this is another new-fangled
product on the market that they're
trying to entice people, "Hey, we'll give
you your money back." It costs $2.95.
Oh, a quantum.
What makes it quantum?
Kinda feels soft.
Is it both alive and dead at the same time?
If I put it in a box with a cat, does the cat
both eat it and not eat it at the same time?
And in some scenarios, the cat dies because
the cat is- Hmm … shouldn't be eating ch-
dark chocolate and having all this caffeine.
But in some other scenarios, the cat lives
because it has a l- slight tolerance to
it because its owner gives it chocolate.
Okay.
You're referencing something, um, and
I'm like, I'm only vaguely aware of that.
Schrödinger's cat, Link.
Hey, I can't know everything.
You read that book with me.
No, I didn't.
What was it called?
That, um- Schrödinger's cat?
No.
It was the book, um, Escher, Bach.
What was the name of that m- that book?
I've heard of Schr- Godel, Escher,
Bach … Schrödinger's cat.
You read that book.
10 year, 15, 20 years ago.
Mm-mm.
Mm-mm.
Didn't read it.
Oh.
Well, you should read it.
You don't have to read it, just- You
thought we read a book together, like
in school
or something?
I
thought that… No, I thought
that you also read that book.
Is it In Search of Schrödinger's Cat?
No, the book is like Godel
or something, Escher, Bach.
It's like-
Wow.
Y'all really- The people who
know, knew, and you got 'em.
Somebody's read it.
Somebody's read it.
Somebody- It's, it… You can
make a n- Somebody's read it.
Somebody's read it.
You can, you can…
Listen Somebody's read it.
You don't need to get validation.
You made a niche reference.
Well, I want somebody-
And those who know, know.
It's not even a niche reference.
But we should just move on.
Mm. Whenever you make a- We should
stay here … a niche reference- Okay,
so it's G- You should just move on.
E-B, an eternal golden braid, I think.
That's what we're, we're
all seeing back here.
Yeah.
A little extra bite.
I'm not gonna keep eating this,
even though it's in my hand.
Well, I wanna get 50 grams of
caffeine and get a little pick me up.
Mm-mm.
It doesn't taste great.
5 grams of protein.
What I'm discovering is that- I
don't, even though it's peanut
butter, it's not really peanut butter.
It's not great.
No.
It's not great at all.
Of all the energy stuff that's on the market,
why do you need to go through any trouble,
which is gonna be 16 minutes of trouble.
You- That's not a lot of trouble, though
… to get something that costs $3, all right?
You gotta download an app, create an account,
and remember, that involves a password.
You're already in nightmare territory.
I know.
Then with- Just use the same one.
Use the same password you use for
all the stuff that doesn't matter.
Yeah.
Desperate cheapskate003.
Clip the coupon.
All of that's, we're just
gonna say three minutes.
How do you spell c- skate?
You gotta drive- Skate … S-K the number 8.
T. And then- T … the E
is a 3 … the number 3.
001. If you think you're getting the
hackers off your trail by making As
into 8s and Es into 3s- Not happening
… no, they know you're doing that.
Then you have to go to Sp- Put
a question mark at the end?
Oh,
yeah.
Then you have to go to Sprouts, which
for us, only eight minutes away.
For you, you could be driving a
long distance to get to a Sprout.
You gotta find the item in the
store, and you gotta buy it.
That's another five minutes.
So I, I'm up to 16 minutes to get this thing.
But think of all the things
you could do in 16 minutes.
Like- Oh my gosh, we could
almost name 100 women.
Yeah.
Uh huh.
Yeah.
We could also maybe watch an
entire old episode of GMM.
Remember those days?
Yeah, they used to be shorter.
Because you didn't go on and
on about the Schrodinger stuff.
Um, you can get through the first, uh,
you know, initial pleasantries with
your therapist before you actually
start talking about how you're feeling.
I hate that about myself, that I always
have to catch up with my therapist.
You take 16 minutes to just- Ah, not 16
… what do you t- what do you mean catch up?
Like, are you talking about you, or
are you asking the therapist about him?
I mean, sometimes I make the
mistake of asking… He's, he has
an interesting life, you know?
And he, but he's charging you for that.
Yeah, but he's got so many
interesting things that he does.
Let me- Like, he'll be like, go on
a trip, and like, he'll like go take
a motorcycle across the America,
and I wanna hear about his stories.
So you're basically saying, "Let me
pay you to tell me about your life."
I, I don't know if he charges me for
that, 'cause we don't always stick,
we always go a little bit long.
I think he knows that if we,
if he tells me about his trips,
he's not charging me for that.
But then I'll tell him about things that, I
mean, I know that me talking about the things
that are going on in my life is part- Yeah
of the therapy.
But sometimes it's just literally like, "I
went on a, I, I had a cool experience, let
me tell you that." Yeah, I don't do that.
Anyway- I hit the ground- … it
takes, it does take 16 minutes … I
hit the ground running, boy.
Because I'm thinking about
getting my money's worth.
Yeah, well.
Like my therapist is just like, I
don't even know if he's a real person.
Oh?
He, does he take trips on motorcycles?
Now, I do know some things
about my therapist, but it
comes out in much smaller little
debits.
You wanna switch for a
while and see what's up?
Oh, that's a, that's a fun idea.
Yeah.
I can get you a coupon
- Yes … for my therapist.
I mean, that would be interesting,
switch therapists for a bit.
Okay, this just tastes like
every other protein thing.
You don't need to try this, and you don't
need to give somebody your information
and download another app for $3.
So we're gonna say this is not our style.
Not our style.
Okay, now we've got a familiar product, Link.
This isn't just some promo
for some new product to try.
This is- Yeah … Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
But it is Tropical Lime.
Is that, are they all Tropical Lime?
Uh- Have I never read it closely?
I believe so, yes.
Okay.
We know what this tastes like.
And I don't wanna keep drinking mine all.
We're not huge fans of it.
Not huge fans of it.
I like it better over ice, like at Taco Bell.
But- Okay, this is quite a
process … you can, you can get
this, you can get one for free.
Let me tell you how you get this.
It's wild.
And before I get into this process, I will
let you know that just a moment ago I learned
that Lucas has been reading that book for
five years, the one that I was talking about.
It's dense.
It's very dense.
Okay, yeah.
Okay.
Definitely never read that.
For the 2026 Major League Baseball
season, Mountain Dew is offering a
free 20 ounce Baja Blast when a player
hits a home run of 420 plus feet, okay?
Okay, this is fun.
So you're watching the game, you're
hoping that they get a home run
even if you're not pulling for the
team 'cause you get a, a free drink.
But you gotta know how far it was
because the average home run distance
from the 2024 season was 399 feet, so
420 is a pretty long home run, right?
Oh, yeah, they've gone that.
And you can do this five times per customer.
But what do you gotta do?
Well, you gotta sign up
at bajablasthomeruns.com.
Okay.
You gotta add the coupon to your
digital wallet, then you gotta turn
on notifications on the digital wallet
card, and you'll be notified when
the qualifying home run has been hit.
Because what are you gonna do,
watch every single freaking game?
So then… That's not all.
I've never even d- I don't even know what
turn notifications on a digital wallet
card… You, you could figure it out.
I- It only, it only takes a minute.
Um, and then the offer is only good for
the next day, so technically you gotta
wait 12 hours, and then you gotta drive to
CVS, and that's a 10-minute trip for us.
You can only get it at CVS.
And then you gotta shop and scan
your digital wallet at checkout.
Uh- There's other qualifying
retailers Other qualifying retailers.
Okay.
So five minutes.
So we're saying that this
is 12 hours and 19 minutes.
That's how we did the math on this.
Is it worth it, okay?
I mean, yeah, this is quite,
like, a B story in your life.
Right, because- You know?
… th- these are the kinda things
you could do in that time.
I mean, you could drive to Vegas, you
could get scared, drive back to LA, then
pump yourself up and drive back to Vegas.
Yeah, no, that's the kinda thing
that, hey, you gotta do sometimes.
Uh, you could create a GMM version
of Tomodachi Life if you're Brittany.
Okay, she did take quite
a bit of time to do that.
Um- … you could probably get really
good at at least one magic trick.
I don't wanna do that.
All of that just to drink
this, which is under $3.
I mean, some people, they
like to game systems.
They like to feel like they've won.
But when you do all this stuff and you
don't pay, if you're defining winning
by not paying, okay, you won, but you've
given so much of your life to this.
But does it not add some st-
structure and purpose and meaning?
Are you retired?
You know what I'm saying?
Then I, I understand if you're retired.
But it, it, it isn't just about- Even if
you're, if you're broke … the money.
It's not about the money.
If you're broke, don't do this,
because you need to be trying
to find a way to make money.
Hold on.
Let me, let, I want you to take this into
account, because you got- Who is it for?
You got one person who just goes
and pays $2.69 for a Baja Blast,
and that's, that's person A, okay?
Took no time, whatever time it took
to get there and just to pay for it.
Yeah.
Then you got someone who just drinks water.
And then you got person B, who- Who drinks
water … is like, they go through this
entire process, and they sit around and
they go like, "Somebody's out…" They're
thinking about the fact that somebody might
be out there hitting a 420-foot home run.
They're checking their phone.
It gives them something to care about.
Does it really have any impact on them?
Not really.
But if it works, they get to be, "Oh,
I'm going to CVS." They get in the car,
they drive down, and they get a coupon.
They're like, "Yeah, you hear about…"
What's, name a baseball player.
Roger Clemens.
You hear about Roger Clemens?
He's a pitcher, and he's also retired.
You hear about José Canseco?
He hit a home run last night, 25 years ago.
And it gives them something
to care about, you know?
I don't know.
I'm, I'm be- I'm coming
around to this process.
What about the bird?
Remember when the- I think we need things
… when the, when the pitcher hit the bird?
Randy Johnson.
Mm-hmm.
We can only name, like,
30-year-old baseball references.
What, what you're saying- Mike
Trout, he can hit home runs, right?
He's a guy.
Right?
Confirmed he is a guy.
He was on the Angels, right?
What about the smelly player,
our famous smelly player?
Boggs?
Yeah.
He's also retired.
What you're saying here, though, is you
can do this if you think it's, it's-
It brings meaning.
It fun, it's, it's you fi- you would
find it fun, or it brings meaning in
your otherwise, like, kinda, like-
Well-
… unmotivated life.
Okay.
Think about it.
You could go and just download a song.
But no, you're gonna go to another country,
and you're gonna go into a record store,
and you're gonna pick a… It's, it, the
structure and the- I do get, I get in my car-
the ceremony of it
…
e- even just to go across town.
Let's make it more apples to apples.
Not- The ceremony of it.
I don't, I'm not getting
in a plane to get this.
No one is.
Right.
But I, instead of driving to the CVS,
yeah, I go to a record store and get
something that I can instantly have on my
phone for basically no additional money.
And you could probably get somebody,
you could probably get Instacart to get
you a record and bring it to your house.
You wouldn't do that.
No, no, no.
The experience.
This is about the experience, man.
So I guess I'm not gonna judge
you as long as you're retired.
And, or if you're not broke.
You can't be broke and do this.
I, I don't, I care too much about you.
Right.
But what we're ultimately saying is,
is it, should you spend 12 hours and
19 minutes to get one Baja Blast?
I hear you saying yes.
Yes.
This is Worth Your While.
Worth Your While.
You can get a free bag of Keogh's
Truffle Butter chips- Oh … with
purchase at your local World Market.
Oh, these are good chips, man.
This brand.
These are Irish, and I got them
in the Irish land of Ireland.
Oh, man.
And they have all these, like,
onion and, um, cheese types.
I love truffle.
They're such a good brand.
They're so fun.
Whatever it is, yes, it's worth it.
You can s- you scan the QR code
on the back of their bags, and it
will tell you what potato field and
farmer the, uh, taters came from.
Hmm.
And it- That's a nice little treat.
And they get your data- It's not a lot
of- … when you do that It's not a lot
of truffle in this, but a lot of butter.
A lot of butter.
Lot of butter.
I'm not a, I'm not a fan of
a lot of butter on my chips.
Right.
Starts to feel like it should be a popcorn.
But these are also good.
What do you have to do for this?
Mm. Well, you have to make an account.
Did I have to tell you that?
Sign up, sign up for World Market rewards.
Three minutes.
Then you gotta drive to World Market.
Let's say that's 10 minutes.
Then you gotta get the chips.
You also have to get an additional cheap
item, like some hard candy for, like, $1.50.
But that's the cheapest
item that you can get.
This is what we got.
Reed's Hard Candy.
$1.49. So you gotta spend some…
I'm about to choke on a chip.
And then you got to, uh, give
the rewards info at checkout.
So that's 18 minutes total.
Okay.
That's long enough- What
can you do in 18 minutes?
… to help your grandma log into
her Netflix account via FaceTime.
And, um, yeah, so now you say, "I can't
do that. I'm going to get a free, some
free chips at World Market, Grandma."
Mm-hmm.
And they're really good.
And she's, and she's fine.
She can wait.
Grandma can wait.
That's what she does most
of the time anyway, is wait.
Yeah.
She'll, she'll, she'll look at the screen.
There's nothing on it for a while.
She can watch- Ooh, I'm getting some truffle
now … regular TV while she's waiting for
you to get her into her Netflix account.
Get the rabbit ears back out, Nana.
Well, I don't know.
These are g- these are good.
I think these are great.
And you need to try 'em.
And- And if you can get
'em for free, you need to.
And you get to go to World Market.
Yeah, that's a fun little trip.
It's a wonderful place.
It's amazing how when something is really
good, it changes the complexion of all this.
That's what this is about.
And we are saying this is worth your while.
Worth your while.
How would you get one free
Red Bull Spring Cherry Sakura?
Happy Cotton Candy Day, daddies.
Notice anything different?
I see that you have a
little pin on your T-shirt.
Oh, actually, I was gonna say I have two
fewer toes since the last time we did this.
Oh.
But yeah, the pin's here and it looks great.
I'm sorry.
I, you know, I, one might ask what happened,
but I don't- … I don't think I want to.
I had a wild weekend in Cabo San Lucas.
Yeah.
Now you only have eight toes?
That's true.
Eight's great.
That's what they said before
they chopped off my toes.
They?
Mm-hmm.
Wow.
Okay.
One might ask who they are,
but I'm not gonna do that.
You know, Sammy Hagar has
a restaurant out there.
It was him and his buddies.
Oh, wow, okay.
So the Van Halen second lead singer.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Uh-huh.
Great guy.
Okay.
The best one if you ask me.
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
Uh, so you got a, yeah,
I see you have the pin.
Yeah.
And, um-
Do you have a sweet nothing?
Oh, yeah.
You wanna hear a sweet nothing?
Oh, yeah, I was gonna say, I would
love to hear a sweet nothing.
I want you to start calling
me Tugboat because when I see
you, my heart goes toot toot.
Also, the Schrodinger's cat stuff was
funny and deserved a bigger laugh.
Oh, thank you, Jordan.
Yeah.
I mean Cotton Candy Randy.
Hey, Link.
I've been writing your obituary,
I just need a little help.
How do you spell wet turd?
I'll, I'll text you.
Cool.
Thanks, Randy.
Yeah, thanks.
It's great to see you.
Bye, everybody.
If you wanna get the pin that Randy
was so, uh, beautifully wearing-
Fashionably wearing … on his T-shirt.
Yep.
You can get it, but you c- gotta
get it today, yes, 'cause the
Cotton Candy Randy Popsicle Pin of
the Month is available only today.
And remember, you could subscribe
to our Pin of the Month Club if you
wanna never have to miss one, where
you don't have to remember this.
Mm-hmm.
You just get it every single month.
So- It's a very cool design.
It's all over at mythical.com.
Love it.
All right, you were saying?
Yes, Red Bull Spring Cherry Sakura.
This is a Red Bull.
You can get it for free.
Yes, but this is what you have to do.
Well, this- Well, it's only
at Love's Travel Stop, right?
Yeah, so this is $3 retail, but you'd
have to download the Love's app, create
an account, clip a coupon, three minutes.
Then you gotta, if you're us, drive 100
miles- Ooh … to the nearest Love's.
We're gonna say that's three
hours and 36 minutes round trip.
Okay.
And then, of course, you gotta scan
the barcode at checkout, five minutes.
Mm-hmm.
And so we're gonna say that's three
hours and 44 minutes for this Red Bull.
All right.
Um- I like the Love's logo.
They have a great logo
I think there's a heart in it.
Yeah, I can't remember, but it's nice.
I mean, I wa- I'm gonna taste it.
Oh, good, we have these.
Just to see if it's worth it.
That's a long time.
I mean, you could drive to
Tijuana and get a taco, but then
you'd have to pay for the taco.
Mm. So do you wanna drive
here and get this for free?
I mean, I'm … To lean into
the fun of it all, hey, let's go
get this Red Bull for free- Yes.
By driving 100 miles.
It's all about- That can be fun … what
do we have besides experience?
Well, what do we, what do we have?
Money.
Other- It's a- … other, other
things we wanna experience … but
not, th- all that's an illusion.
It's just an illusion.
All we have is the experience.
Yeah.
It's what we make it, man.
I mean, culture is living
someone else's imagination.
Yes, that's right, Link.
Now you're getting it.
Now you've taken the box off and the cat
is both alive and dead- So- … and you
say it doesn't really matter, 'cause it
was the experience of taking the box up.
It wasn't about the cat's experience.
It was about your experience.
If you can do it and you wanna
do it, you should do it, as
long as it doesn't hurt a cat.
Right.
A lot.
As long as it doesn't hurt a cat a lot.
And this is really tasty,
and it has more caffeine.
I've had a lot of caffeine today.
This is tasty.
Yeah, it's really good.
This is- Better than Baja Blast … this
is one of the, this is one of
the … Yeah, this is one of the, this
is one of the- This is one of the.
This is one of the- This is one of
the, and so we are gonna say it is-
Worth your while … worth your while.
This is an interesting one.
FlavCity All-In-One Protein Smoothie Powder.
You wanna try this for a week,
seven days for free, which is a
value of mm, a little over $22.
Seven different protein powders?
Yes, and this- What a week that would be.
They have so many different
flavors to choose from, apparently.
But this is what you do.
This, this relates to Strava, which is an
app that, if y- if you already have it,
then I think you're in the running for this.
Or if you, if you work out and you have
an active lifestyle and you like to
track your stuff, Strava's like an app.
I, I used it for a while with my, uh,
mountain biking, and it connects you
with other people that do the same thing,
and it starts to, like, make you, uh,
kinda competitive with other people.
But this deal is, if you log at
least 20 minutes of activity on 10
different days in a month, you get,
uh, a week's worth of this for free.
Taste that.
It is very nice.
I mean- We got, we're
g- … for a protein powder?
We got the chocolate- Good
Lord … peanut butter one.
It is really good.
This is taking me straight to FlavCity.
It's got collagen, peanuts, cocoa,
banana, adaptogens, and more.
Why is it so good?
I mean, protein powder's not usually good.
You just put it in there and
cover it up with other stuff.
Pretty good.
I would say it's exceptionally good based
on, I mean, it's not like chocolate milk.
What I'm saying, protein
powder's typically just bad.
No, no, no.
I, I, I 100% agree.
And I think if you want some sort of
motivation to, to continue to work out,
you can, you know, you can walk, you
can do yoga, you can do biking, all the
different stuff that's in the Strava app.
It d- it's just another
reason to keep doing it.
But to add it all up, if you haven't
created an account, you gotta do that.
You gotta join the challenge, five minutes.
You gotta exercise 20 minutes
a day, 20 minutes for 10 days.
Oh.
You gotta log every exercise.
We're gonna add 10 minutes for that.
Then you gotta wait five days
for this package to have arrived.
So just putting this at, at a 15 day,
three hour, and 35 minute investment.
And to put that into perspective, something
that you could do in 15 days, three
hours, and 35 minutes, well, you could
do any activity of your choice for a
fortnight, and then spend one day, three
hours, and 35 minutes bragging about
how you know how long a fortnight is.
All right.
I, I don't even think, uh, I need you
to sweeten the deal, but I'll allow
you to do it if you have another one.
Mm-mm.
Because- This is excellent … it tastes
good, it encourages you to, to work out,
and you're giving your data to Strava,
which you, you could be doing anyway.
So- We're gonna say worth your while.
Worth your while.
Wow, things really turned around there
in the second half of this episode.
Yeah, I, I think- It's all about perspective.
Yeah, I think that's what … I
wanna thank you for that.
You know, it really comes down
to the fact that when you observe
something, you actually impact the
outcome, and that's what we did today.
We observed these things, and that changed
the reality of what we were observing.
Uh, I didn't read the book.
I'm trying to tell you.
Thanks for commenting and sharing this video.
You know what time it is.
Hi, I'm Manuel, a Mythical Beast from
Texas, and this is my modular synth.
It's time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality.
Hey.
That was cool.
I don't know how it works, but it's cool.
And I really liked the look on
your face while it was playing.
It's the look of proud satisfaction,
and you, you should be proud.
We have some unsolicited advice for Simone.
What's a good affirmation for
Simone to start her day with?
I got nothing.
Well, I thought you might say,
Simone, regardless of what you're
going through, just know that if you
have a look of… What did you say?
Satisfied?
What was the look on his face?
Pride.
Satisfied pride?
Whatever Link said earlier.
Yeah, we got nothing.
Keep that look on your face regardless
of the circumstances of life.
And you know what?
It'll actually affect the outcome.
