Welcome to Good Mythical More. We’re gonna get to know some mythical beasts and their signature dishes. Can we pair the two together? With just some fun facts. Fun facts. Are we that psychologically psychic? Are we that sociologically insightful? Are we the knife that cuts through the clutter of what people are just putting their nose down in? What do you call it when you go have a good time with a fax machine? What? Fun facts. Check Your Voicemail. That’s what we’re gonna do. Y’all ever get your tater salad stuck in your bean soup? You know what I mean? Tater salad. You know what I mean man You know what I mean? Kinda sounds like something we would’ve done in high school You ever get your tater salad stuck in your bean soup. You know what I mean? I like that guy. I like you. Like what you think, Mike? I like the way you think. We got four Mythical beasts, specifically members of the Mythical society. First, second or third degree, they were randomly selected. Random. And now they’re gonna be part of this More that’s one of the packs. You might be, I don’t do lotions I’ll let you do that. Your lost home slice. Here’s what we’re gonna do. You don’t do lotion. There are four different signature dishes that these four folks right here make. And signature dish means they make it. And all we have is these fun facts. Who do we have? I thought my fun facts joke was better than the response. Hey, I gave you a good response. I was like- I gave you- Y’all know what a fax machine is right? But you use the word fun- We’re a little hurt right now. Yeah, no one’s laughing. ‘Cause they’re all mad about the bracketality Tell me about Michelle. ‘Cause obviously we have dump cake fudge pigs in a blanket and Dutch crepes\pancakes which we’ll get into the details. Michelle grew up on a farm in Ontario, Canada. They got farms in Canada these days. So there’s a lot of open land. An avid reader owning over 600 books. Wow! Don’t brag. A grade seven/eight teacher. Sorry. That’s a tough age. Been watching GMM since she started teaching back in 2016. 2016, okay. So you kind of still just getting started with this whole thing, but if you’ve been doing it that long maybe you’ve discovered that it is your calling and, I think that is amazing. Loves coffee. And we do too. Okay, so that’s so- Canadian middle schoolers, coffee books, I’ll remember that. I kind of feel like maybe just preliminarily put it in front of the dump cake. Why? Coffee, It feels like coffee and dump cake. Oh coffee. What is a dump cake? Again, I don’t know what a dump cake is ’cause I’m not Canadian. My signature dish is called dump cake. A cobbler like dish composed of crushed pineapple, cherry pie filling, yellow cake mix, tons of butter and topped with pecans. Topped with pecans that may not be a Canadian thing, but we keep going. I don’t think it is. Tell me about somebody else or show me who you want me to tell you about. Jesse. Jesse was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. Okay. mountain girl. One of my favorite places. A veterinary technician\animal nurse. Animal nurse. I have a five-year-old brother named Elwood. Elwood’s a nice name for a five year old. We’re 24 years apart. I mean, when he’s 85, the name will fit. Huge cat lover, and, community college graduate which you know right there, you’ve just endeared yourself to me. Two of my favorite things. Cat lover. Will drink pickle juice straight from the jar, another thing I love. Bold, she’s bold. Run spotlight, for a local or rocky horror picture show, shadow cast. Shadow cast. Shadow cast. What is that? Does that mean like a puppet show? I think it’s like a- Like a hand puppet show. It’s a hand puppet show. I guess she runs the light for it. Yeah. Pick up a jar in one hand, spotlight in the other Shadow cast Five year old on her knee. How’d you do the dance numbers? Loves lab science and hematology. Okay. Is hematology like the study of blood? Not afraid of blood messing with horses and stuff. Asheville. I think that she’s dump cake actually. Just because it’s- It’s got pecans in it. It’s a casserole type thing. It’s got pekans in it. Alright, let’s find a… What’s that over there? Dutch crepes/pancakes. My signature dishes is Dutch crepes\pancakes. These are raisin crepes with syrup. It’s my mom’s recipe, and I’m proud to be able to make them. That sounds Canadian. That sounds Canadian so far Dutch stuff and raisin crepes. We don’t know about that stuff. Okay so, let’s learn about Mathew Mathew with one T. Mathew! Mathew! I like to spend my free time in the winter snowmobiling. Snowmobiling. I always find myself cheering for Rhett to win. Okay, somebody is then. Thanks for that. I have been to Italy six times, save something for the rest of us. Six? That’s a lot of times to go to Italy. That’s a lot man. Where’s he from? Italy? Ooh. No he’s not, I don’t know where he is from. He didn’t say? My favorite movie is “The Giver”. What is that? That’s Liam Neeson. That’s the sequel to “Taken” You got it. You got it! My jokes are on fire today, and you’re all mad at me, so you’re not lying, you’re not laughing. Well, I think Mathew’s pulling for you. I mean that was quick, “The Giver” Liam Neeson, “Taken”? So you’re not lying. What? He said so you’re not lying, but you meant laughing. So the implication is that we are laughing, we are lying. Jeff Bridges is in “The Giver” and “Meryl Streep”. Taylor Swift is in “The Giver”? She’s a prolific actress. This is from 2014, it’s a sci-fi movie. Us? What did I watch recently? Oh, Jesse was watching one of those Valentine’s Day movies by- The Netflix Plums. Tae is in that, she plays a cheerleader. Tae? Yeah. Oh yeah, Tae okay. We’re on a first, we’re on one syllable basis to me and Tae. Okay, whatever. What else about Mathew? Very talented Mathew! I hate tomatoes almost as much as link. Alright. So you identify with me, but you pull for rat? I grad- I spell Mathew with two T’s. I graduated with a degree in environmental science. Environmental science? Environmental science. Good. So you’re, alright. That’s the solid- Somebody’s been to Italy six times Man, flying pigs in a blanket. My signature this is my own adaptation of the flying pigs in a blanket that was featured on Good Mythical Morning on February 2nd, 2018. In the football party snack hacks episode, boneless buffalo wings wrapped in bacon-baked, then wrapped in puff pastry and baked again. We made that on this show, we ate it. That sounds good. I just don’t think that that’s Mathew ’cause he must like Italian food. Well what’s Italian fudge? Is fudge Italian? My signature dish is fudge, I only make it around Christmas and it becomes a hot commodity and in high demand. My brother-in-law starts screaming for it around Halloween, she gotta wait until Christmas. I don’t know, it’s kind of a toss up here. Dutch crepes. Isn’t crepe French? Yeah. Crepes are French and France, is in Europe. I don’t think, Italy’s not getting us many places. So I’m actually gonna go with flying pigs in a blanket because he seems, I don’t know, he’s a dedicated fan. He likes snowmobiling. Yeah, also known as ski doing You go fast. Not that ski. If you go fast enough in a snowmobile you might catch some air. I wanna go snowmobiling. Yeah, I have been hearing you talk about that. Lisa. Lisa got some purple hair in this picture. Lisa. That’s a manmade thing. Nobody comes out with purple hair, they gotta add it later. No I bet. But I like it. I bet somebody has. I like the look. I sometimes eat Mac and cheese with soy sauce. Well hello. That’s a hint. I’m listening, I’m sitting up. That’s a pallet hint. I have been the MC for our annual Halloween bash including themed food and costume contest for at least 13 Halloweens. Purple hair yes. 13 Halloweens wow! It never gets old. I passed out in front of my entire high school while watching the anti-drunk driving presentation. Whoa! Whoa dang! I remember that dude. We had one of those too. It was a like leading up to prom and oh my God- I still remember the images of the people on scooters. The people who were on scooters when they got run over by like 18 wheelers? Yes. Yes. Did y’all have to watch that in your school? Yeah, I don’t remember scooters though. That’d be an interesting- It’s a whole scooter section. I know we’ve talked about this and I hate to keep talking about it, but it… Don’t drive drunk. I think it’s effective. And don’t drive scooters. But by the way, oh, and I was in full dead makeup that day. I had to walk around the school like a dead person after watching the dead people on the thing. Wow, she’s Lisa. She really gets into Halloween. I am undefeated in every escape room I’ve participated in. She does fit a certain profile, doesn’t she? This the fudge profile? She’s big into Halloween, she big into escape rooms. Is this the dump cake or the fudge profile? I think this is, I mean it mentions Halloween and is when my brother-in-law starts screaming for my Christmas fudge around Halloween like her life revolves around Halloween. I’m not done yet though. I prefer oatmeal raisin cookies to chocolate chip cookies so that’s not a fudge put person. My Mythical society membership is my yearly Valentine’s gift for my husband. Lisa, Lisa. I love that idea. Enhancing your relationship. I’m sticking with fudge just because of the Halloween thing. Even though the raisins really got me guessing. Alright- I think we should switch Michelle and Lisa. Why is that? I don’t know, my gut man. Before we find out if we’re right, I’m not gonna give in like I did in the episode. Okay, that was a test. Do you know the wheel of merchicality? It’s back. It’s this thing we do over the Mythical store. Not the wheel of mythicality, it’s different Merchicality, you go over there, and you spin it for a chance to win sweet prizes, like extra rewards points, mobile wallpapers, or a free sticker with your order. That’s cool. You’re buying something, you get to play a game, get some sort of a reward point, a sweet little wallpaper, stick free sticker? It’s just fun and games everywhere at Mythical. Have a good time, with the fax machine. Alright, you gotta spin the wheel now though. Fun facts. This is only, for one day only, today. Do you think today’s the only day to spin that wheel? Do you think anybody back in the days of the facts, went in and did something that was kind of fun, and then came up to somebody at work, and was like, “Look at this fun facts.” No. How do we know the answers? If I could time travel, I would go back to 94 and I would do that. Stevie? I’m the answer girl. Who made the Dutch crepes? I just wanna say, that Link, I am so proud of you, for standing up for yourself because what you did was you gave yourself a queen sweep. You got every single one right. We know you guys! Mythical beasts, we’re connected. Jesse, Lisa, Matthew A queen sweep? Michelle. I’m sorry for ever doubting you. Look at that. That’s a way to turn things around. I don’t know if it’s true or if you’re just trying to make us feel good, But, that’s a way to turn things around. Bring out the no order. I need something to suck on. Oh gosh! You know what, I’ll just take it home. Yeah, you know what? Put it in my car. Make him a little backpack. Put it in my car, oh a backpack. Make him a little backpack. That’ll be nice. Kids can suck on it. It’s kind of leaky in there. Just put it in the trunk. Yeah. Especially put it on top so when it leaks, it just like- Clears your windshield? Put peanut butter juice all over my windshield and then I could roll the window down and as I’m driving down the highway just kind of licking it up like a dog. Okay. Yeah, okay. Okay. Thank you. I’m not carpooling with you today. Queen sweet man. Wow! That is ending on a positive note. Test your luck and spin the wheel of merchicality today only, at mythical.com
