What artists do we wanna see on Coachella's lineup? Welcome to Good Mythical More. Are you, are you I'm freezing. Are you shivering? I'm trying this new thing. It's like a DJ talk to, to trying a new thing. It's like Max Hera. Oh, okay. Remember him? Mm-hmm. I do, but no one else does. Well, yeah, exactly. That's where I'm gonna, it's an eighties head. I'm not going to Coachella this year because I went so hard last year that I, I was like, I've gotta skip a year. The lineup wasn't really for me, honestly. Um, and I have other things I'm, I gotta do, so I'm not gonna be there in the flesh, but I'll be there with you in spirit. But if the places, the people that we are gonna put on our posters. Would be at another music festival. Mine is the Link Music Festival. Then I would go to that. Well, I'm gonna look at the lineup. From Coachella. There's so many bands. Dang. Well you got Bieber and I'm going to Carol GI might pick some that are already gonna be there. That will be a part of my, it's not important. Minus five. This is a good start. It's a good start to my festival that that happened because we don't have any bathrooms. Oh. So I'm gonna go ahead and say right now it's uh, there are no restrooms at my music festival. There's no porta Johns, um. You just, it's, it's individual, subtle bathrooms. So very, I, I recognize catheters, what I'm talking about, very few of the bands that are playing on, um, Friday. I do recognize Sabrina Carpenter. I'm a fan. I don't think she's gonna be at my festival, but Bob Baker Marionettes, like from the, from the Marionette Theater. They're gonna be at Coachella. They're gonna be at Coachella. Yep. That is You want to, you want the, the marionettes I'm gonna steal. I'm, yeah, I'm, I'm gonna start with who I'm gonna steal from actual Coachella, so I'll start there. Okay. I like, I like that, but I'm gonna put 'em about right here. I'm most excited about clips. I've seen them live. Uh, they're great live, but I mean, they're No Lady Gaga. I don't think anybody, Sabrina Carpenter is, she's something to watch. She's got. A good sense of humor. She's got a lot of things going on on stage, so I think that's gonna be good. Uh, Ethel Kane, I know about her. She's gonna be, um, pretty angsty. I like Ethel. Ethel, Ethel Kane. Teddy swims, um, had a last meal. Yes he did. Sexy Red's gonna be there on Friday. Bieber's gonna be there Saturday, but maybe he'll bring sexy red back out. That's how it works sometimes as a part of, as a part of his thing. Um, oh, young thug's gonna be there on Sunday. Uhhuh, but lemme see something. I don't know. I, I like, I like, I like some young thug. Who are these other people? Creepy nuts. Creepy nuts. I mean, they sound great. It's a band named Creepy Nuts. I gotta go for them. That sounds nice. Flesh Water. Oh, flesh Water is a band that doesn't make me thirsty, you know? I see, uh, Los Romanos Flores, which reminds me of somebody I do want to see. Okay. Loso Re Okay. Totally different group. Yeah. Uh, if you haven't listened to Harmo Gutierrez, you should. Yep. Um, uh, you don't need any, you don't need to read any of the lyrics 'cause there aren't any. No lyrics brothers, vibe brothers who play guitar and are great, were big fans. Saw them at South by, I put them about right there. Uh, can we include dead people? Yeah. Yeah. I, I'm gonna put creepy nuts on mine because, uh, I do, I'm intrigued. I'm intrigued by the why, why, what makes him creepy? Creepy nuts. Well, if we can include dead people, Merle Haggard is definitely gonna be there. I'm assuming he's gonna be somewhere on your, on your list. I'm thinking I might have a, I might have a hip hop night and a and a country night. So I'm going for, of course, you know, I'm a, my, my number one guy, the Alchemist. I'm gonna, I'm gonna put him at the top of my festival, the Alchemist and Friends, um, and friends. And you're not gonna know everybody who's gonna bring out, but you definitely know that, um. Freddie Gibbs is gonna be there. He's gonna be, he's gonna be spitting and then in a major turn of events, it, no one ever thought this would happen, but the Link Music Festival is bringing them back together. We've got, we've got currency and yes, it's with a dollar sign. Currency and Freddie GI hold, no, they have beef right now. They're gonna squash their beef and, and this is gonna be the debut of Fetti Fetti number two. Who else is as excited as me? Oh my God, nobody. Yeah, I mean, I feel I'm excited for you FE two, everybody. It's happening. I'm excited for you. I, I'm doing everything I can to make this happen. If I can, if I can get these two men. To, to be friends again. My job is done. Come on Freddy. I I, I know you like to, I know you like to get into it and you like to, you like Freddy like to get a little petty, but listen, come on, we're, we gotta put this behind us. Currency. You're not doing anything except, uh, having a good time. I mean, uh, you know, it's, this seems pretty one sided guys. I don't think that this is gonna be effective. I just think talking to him like that, I just think we got, we gotta do what's best for the people. This right here is what I'm gonna do on day one. And um, you know what, throw little creepy nuts in there, guys. Okay. I don't know what genre they are or anything. Two people that are on here that are playing on Saturday? Yes. Okay. Are you, have you guys heard geese? They, they were on SNL and I think they kind of popped a little bit. Yeah. After that everybody knows. But here's the thing. Cameron Winters, who's the lead singer of Geese, has an incredible solo project. So I wanna see geese play and then I wanna see the solo, the solo music at the same time. But you know who is also good? I played you some of this. Bedwin Beding. Beding. Beding. Mm-hmm. Bedwin is sound instrumental too. Uh, no. This is an artist who is doing st. She sounds like it's very throwback. She has like a super smooth voice, but it's a little bit funky. A little bit folky. She's, she's, 'cause she's playing there on, uh, on Saturday. All right. I'm starting to think maybe I should go to Coachella. I want to have a No, this is, this is your music festival. I know. Okay, now I'm gonna start adding all the people I want. Okay. I'm gonna add a little. Jose Gonzalez. Oh, good call. He's great. I don't, I somehow, that's how you spell it. And then let's see. Up here. Up here. Let's see. I want to go. I want to go a little country. Link creepy nuts. Sounds kind of awesome. Actually. There are Japanese hip hop duo consisting of a DJ and what I assume is a vocalist. A vocalist, A rapper, huh? Yeah. Creepy nuts. Japanese creepy nuts. Yes. So that's what my hip hop set and then Jose Gonzalez got, has the morning yoga set. And then, um, I'm gonna have a, I'm gonna have a country day that is. Yeah. Charlie Crockett and Casey Musgraves. Casey Musgraves. And they are going to, um, they're gonna wrestle, the two of them are gonna wrestle each other. It's, you know, it's predetermined. It sounds like you wanna see Casey Musgraves wrestle. That's what that sounds like. Yeah. Uh, so the two of them are gonna, are gonna wrestle. We're gonna have to work on, this is just everyone who's gonna be there. I'm not designing the knights at this point, okay? Okay. But I'm bringing in Faye Webster and specifically yes, to do her music, but to also do a yo-yo demonstration. Is she a yo-yo? She is an incredible yo-yo. Or Faye Webster. We're continuing to mix it up here. Again, if you haven't listened to Kii, bci, you should Kii bci. Yeah. This guy is in Georgia. He lives in Georgia now. He lives in Athens, Georgia, but he's, I mean, he's doing some. It is a little bit out there. It's, I recommended it way back, back in the day. Uh, he has a song about making love That doesn't sound like it's a song about making love. Oh yeah. To listen to the lyrics. Yeah, I remember that. Highly recommend Kii, bci, I think. I think hiphop premiere Boom about Renaissance crew might fit well with your hip hop day. Boom. BAP Renaissance crew. Yeah, I'm talking about, you know, west Side Gun, uh, Conway the machine, and Benny the butcher. Oh, yeah, because you did my presentation. Yeah, you remember that. You want, so you want Griselda up in here? I want Griselda. Well, um, I'm getting, I'm getting in some bruiser rule here, so he's gonna be there. He's fun, he's different. He's Detroit. But yeah. Uh, I don't think I can afford to get the Griselda guys in here now because I just don't have the budget. I don't have the budget Chase. I got something you're gonna like. Alright, we're gonna have a set from Crystal Ball Tapia, DeVere. Who is the guy who did the White Lotus soundtrack? Yes. And it is the best. This guy is the absolute Oh, would be, that would be good. Did you see it even do concerts? Does he do shows? I know. All I know is that he and Mike White had like this falling out. Well, okay. It's kind of sad. You know what's happening at my music fest, Mike White, Mike write that. Mike White and Crystal Ball are making up in this, we're gonna call it Fedie three. So the, the next season of White Lotus has. Great music a better, and I think it might've been Mike White's fault that like, I mean, why not just use the same theme from season one? Well, I mean, it was so, it's so good then what happened? But if you listen to the other stuff that this guy has done as well, I mean, it, it is absolutely incredible. It's, and I can imagine that it would be great in person, maybe we were listening to this together, I was listening to some podcast about the White Lotus, um. The quintessential theme, and he tells the story of where he came up with it. Uh, Kanye West. Familiar. Oh yeah. West. He flew, he flew him in, like he flies people into work on albums. And this is, this is a, a while back, I mean like years before the white lotus. And he flies people in and then he goes from room to room and he sees what they're working on and cooking up, and if he likes something, he'll take it or, and then the guy was. Uh, crystal Ball was like, oh, what do I, what do I do? So he either had this thing or he worked up ho ho, ho. How, how is it, how does it go? You know, like the sounds and stuff. I don't even wanna butcher it, like all of the sounds. It's so good though. Um, he cooked that up for Kanye. Really. And then it didn't, didn't happen. He might, Kanye may have never even listened to it. I can't quite remember. It's a great story that I can't retell, but that's where that came from. And then he was like, you know what? I should use it for the white Lotus. He didn't even make it really well. It's perfect for it. You gonna put Kanye at the top? No, I've got, I've got something that's gonna blow your mind. This is a Welsh singer from the 18 hundreds who invented she, uh, uh, a, she invented this contraption called the Oph phone, and she would stand next to it like this. We'll put the, we'll put these pictures in the feed, and she would stand next to this, and then she, so like a tube, and then she would put a, a glass thing on top and she would direct her voice to draw all of these incredible shapes. Like, and she figured out how to do this thing where she would make it look like plants. It looks like a, a microscopic image. Yeah. And so she could do the, you know how like, uh, there's, they're called the, uh. Chardonney plates or whatever it is. It's like the German scientists came up with that thing. You know, you put sand on like a metal plate and send a thing and it makes a weird Yes. Crazy pattern. Wave the waves. So he did that first and then she saw that, and she did this thing where she would put like powder or like a liquid thing on this membrane, and she would do demonstrations for people where she would direct, she was a soprano. She would direct her voice to make these crazy images and they would come out looking like, like stuff like that, right? But then she figured out. That she could take this glass plate and move it. At the same time she was singing to make all of these crazy like flowers and ferns, and they're all in this museum in Wales. But like she did all of this with her voice, like that flower and that. And she and I would want her to do a demonstration of that live on stage. Oh, wow. I mean, it's absolutely incredible. First you gotta reanimate her. Well, yeah, that's part of it. You said we could have somebody, anybody. We want Merl Hacker's gonna be there too. Look her up. All right. I bet you some somebody is carrying this on. I hope so. I a living, I've started to look into it, but I, I don't know. Who else do I have? Who else would be, um, who else would be good here? Um, oh yeah. What, what we need to, um, there's a woman on YouTube doing it. Yeah, there is. She's just grace, dig, grace, dignity. She's doing it too. She is doing it. I don't think she's doing it as well. She's doing it with this powder. Okay. That's pretty nice, dude. Don't you wanna see that woman at Coachella? Well, at, at a certain point I did start looking at my phone again. Oh, okay. So I'm gonna be honest about that. Um, okay. And then I think, uh, yeah. So Erica Badu is, is, is, uh, is headlining, I think. I think that's Who's headlining my festival right there. How are we, we looking pretty good. It's gonna be a fun time. We're gonna have a good time. Nowhere to use the bathroom, but, um, I didn't think, I don't think you have catheters on the, I I thought that was a band, catheter only catheters and, um, open bar. That's how, that's how Link, that's how Link Fest rolls. Everybody gets a catheter. Yeah. It's like you walk in, you strip down naked, they put a catheter in. Oh, it's an internal catheter. I thought it was external. Oh no, I'm not talking nascar. I'm talking medical. Okay. All right. Everybody gets that internal catheter and then they pull 'em out for you at the end as you walk out. 'cause you gotta use 'em next year. Right? Right. You, you pull it out yourself and you put it in a big bucket. If you want help with it, we do have someone for that. Yeah. Yeah. And they'll give you sticks to bite, you know. But you have to buy those. Yeah. You have to buy the bite stick before the catheter is ripped out. And it says the Link Music Festival on the bite stick. Yeah. Verbally. You can hear my voice as it comes out. Oh, it's got a little pull string on it.
