MK 1256: What signature dishes are on your holiday table? #KrogerPartner #ad ‪@KrogerCo‬

It is truly not the holidays until these foods hit the table. We’re partnering with Kroger to show you some of our favorite holiday dishes. Hi, I’m Josh and my holiday plate must have my grandma’s chicken liver mousse on rye toast, my bubby liies lockkas with applesauce and sour cream, and then a hard pivot to my dad’s pineapple marishccino cherry and cola glazed ham. I grew up celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas and a lot of the foods still mean a great deal to me. And I remember my dad just pouring giant bottles of cola around the ham and basting it for hours and hours and hours. And then tasting my grandma’s chicken liver mousse to me was a really big food awakening in my life. >> Hi, I’m Lily and my holiday plate wouldn’t be the same without scolop chowder, mashed turnups, and Kelly rolls. All of the stuff I ate Christmas Eve for the scolop chowder, mashed turnups on Christmas, and then the Kelly roll the day after. Hi, I’m V and my holiday plate must have p so gordas and sapicon. All of these dishes remind me of my grandmother and she made them every year and we always had huge huge tamalei making parties with all these goodies and I’m so excited to eat them. >> Good. >> This is my first mashed turnip. >> Won’t be your last. >> Certainly won’t. That is a nice chatter. >> That’s comforting. I like that. Is it important to have pineapple with it? >> Is it important to have pineapple with the ham? Yeah, that’s why the pineapple’s there. I think this is really cool because you can see how different each of our holiday plates actually were, but the thing that binds them is this is all good as heck, man. This is delicious. Whatever your holiday table looks like, you can find everything you need at your local Kroger family store. Happy holidays from our Grocery Head family to yours. >> Happy holidays. I missed the turnips.
